Privacy Policy

Oroty ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by SAVYX. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our encouragement-card application ("App"). Oroty asks you for nothing. You tap the screen and a short card of encouragement appears. There is no camera, no photo library, no birth date, no text you type, and no account.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 What You Give Us — Nothing

• No camera, no photo library. The App does not request camera or photo-library permission, and the Android build blocks those permissions at the manifest level.
• The cards are not generated from anything about you. Every card ships inside the App as a file. Tapping picks one — it sends nothing anywhere and does not describe, analyze, or profile you.
• The only place you can make a choice that reaches us is the content report form, which opens only if you choose to report a card. See 1.3.

1.2 Usage Data

• Anonymous app usage events (screens opened, features used) tied to a randomly generated ID created on your device and not linked to you.
• Device type, operating system version, and app version.
• Crash and error reports for debugging.
• You can turn this off inside the App — Settings → "Usage data". See section 9.

1.3 Content Reports

• If you report a card, we receive the card you reported and the reason you selected. The form asks you not to include personal information, and none is required.

1.4 Referrals

• If you invite someone, we store a referral code. It is a random string — not your name, email, or phone number.

1.5 Account & Subscription

• Oroty does not require an account. We do not collect your email address, name, or login credentials.
• Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. We do not collect or store your payment details; subscription status is managed through your app store account and our subscription provider (RevenueCat).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate the App and see which parts of it people use.
• To fix crashes and errors.
• To act on content you report.
• To process payments for premium features.
• To send optional daily notifications — off by default, and only if you turn them on.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. No Images, No Biometric Data, No AI Profiling

• We do not collect, store, sell, or profit from biometric identifiers or biometric information (such as those defined under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act (CUBI), or Washington's RCW 19.375).
• We do not perform facial recognition, fingerprint analysis, voice analysis, or any other biometric processing.
• We do not build a profile of you and do not make automated decisions about you.

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete your personal information, to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal data), and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. To exercise these rights, contact jknam@savyx.kr.

4. GDPR (European Users)

Legal basis for processing: Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) and Legitimate Interests (Article 6(1)(f)).

Your rights under GDPR: access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object.

5. Data Retention

There is no AI provider on this list, because the App does not call one. Unlike our other apps, Oroty sends nothing to an interpretation service.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Our App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at jknam@savyx.kr.

8. Data Security

• All data transmitted via HTTPS/TLS encryption.
• API keys and credentials stored encrypted (never in plain text).
• Regular security reviews.

9. Your Choice: Turning Usage Data Off

Data already collected is anonymous and cannot be traced back to you, so it cannot be deleted individually; it is purged when the retention period above expires.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (Standard Contractual Clauses for EU data transfers). See the Korean section below for the itemized transfer table.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

14. Korean Users (개인정보보호법 / PIPA)

Oroty is operated by SAVYX, a business registered in the Republic of Korea. For users in Korea, the following applies under the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), the Network Act (정보통신망법), and related laws:

• 입력받는 개인정보가 없습니다: 이 앱은 이름·이메일·생년월일·사진·위치·연락처를 묻지 않습니다. 회원가입도 없고 주민등록번호도 수집하지 않습니다.
• 카메라·사진첩 없음: 카메라·사진첩 권한을 요청하지 않으며, 안드로이드 빌드는 매니페스트 단계에서 그 권한들을 차단합니다.
• AI 전송 없음: 카드 문장은 앱 안에 파일로 들어 있습니다. 이용자의 어떤 정보도 AI 서비스로 나가지 않습니다.
• 수집 거부 수단: 앱의 설정 → «이용 데이터» 를 끄면 그 기기에서의 이용 이벤트·크래시 로그 전송이 중단됩니다.
• 만 14세 미만 아동: 이 앱은 만 13세 미만을 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 개인정보 보호법 제22조의2에 따라 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보 처리에는 법정대리인의 동의가 필요하며, 회사는 그러한 정보를 알면서 수집하지 않습니다.
• 유출 통지: 국내 이용자에게 영향을 주는 유출이 발생하면 개인정보 보호법 제34조에 따라 72시간 이내에 이용자에게 통지하고 개인정보보호위원회/KISA에 신고합니다.
• 광고성 정보: 광고 푸시를 보내지 않습니다. 향후 광고성 정보를 보내는 경우 사전 수신동의를 받고, 야간(21:00–08:00) 발송은 별도 동의를 받습니다(정보통신망법 제50조).
• 이용자의 권리: 열람·정정·삭제·처리정지·동의철회. 연락처: jknam@savyx.kr

보유·이용 기간 및 파기 (Retention and Destruction — 개인정보 보호법 제21조·제30조)

이 앱은 이용자로부터 입력받는 개인정보가 없습니다. 아래는 앱 이용 과정에서 자동으로 생성되거나, 이용자가 스스로 실행한 기능에서 발생하는 항목입니다.

이 앱에는 AI 해석 사업자로의 이전이 없습니다. 카드 문장이 앱 안에 동봉돼 있어 이용자 정보가 해석 서비스로 나가지 않습니다.

이전을 거부하는 방법·절차 및 거부의 효과

• 익명 이용 이벤트·크래시 로그: 앱의 설정 → «이용 데이터» 를 끄시면 그 기기에서의 수집·이전이 즉시 중단됩니다. 거부하셔도 카드·보관함·공유 등 모든 기능을 그대로 이용하실 수 있습니다. 이미 수집된 데이터는 개인을 식별할 수 없는 익명 형태이므로 개별 삭제 요청의 대상이 되지 않으며, 위 보유기간 경과 시 일괄 파기됩니다.
• 신고 내역: 신고 기능을 사용하지 않으시면 이전되지 않습니다. 신고하지 않아도 앱의 모든 기능을 정상적으로 이용하실 수 있습니다.
• 추천 코드: 초대 기능을 사용하지 않으시면 이전되지 않습니다.
• 구독 상태: 유료 구독을 하지 않으시면 이전되지 않습니다. 무료로 계속 이용하실 수 있습니다.
