Terms of Service

Welcome to Oroty ("Oroty," "we," "us," or "our"), an encouragement-card app operated by SAVYX. By downloading, accessing, or using Oroty, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The Service

Oroty shows you a short written card of encouragement, comfort, or praise. You tap; a card appears. That is the whole app. Cards are grouped into categories (comfort, calm, encouragement, motivation, self-worth, praise, love, gratitude), and you can save cards you like or share them as an image.

Oroty has no camera and asks for no personal information. There is no sign-up, no birth date, no photograph, and no text field.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher; in the Republic of Korea, 14) to use Oroty. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission. Oroty does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

3. Your Input — There Isn't Any

Oroty does not ask you to enter anything. There is no camera, no photo library, no birth date, no name, and no free-text field in normal use. The cards are written in advance and stored inside the app; tapping selects one and sends nothing about you anywhere.

Two features are exceptions, and both are entirely your choice: reporting a card (we receive the card and the reason you selected) and inviting a friend (we store a random referral code). Our handling of data is described in full in our Privacy Policy.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Oroty is free to use with a daily limit. An optional premium purchase removes that limit and unlocks category selection and the full set of materials and colors.

• Plans: Monthly and Annual subscriptions, and a one-time Lifetime purchase, are offered. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you purchase — they are read from the store, not printed here.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. The Lifetime purchase does not renew.
• Managing and cancelling: You manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings — not within Oroty. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current paid period remains active until it ends.
• Payments and refunds: All payments are processed by Apple or Google. Refunds are subject to the policies of the applicable app store; we do not separately process payments or refunds.
• Restoring a purchase: If you reinstall the app or change devices, use Restore Purchase in the app to recover access.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Oroty, including by reverse-engineering the app, attempting to disrupt the service, extracting the card set in bulk for redistribution, or using the app for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

Oroty, including its software, design, card text, and branding, is owned by SAVYX and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or content except as needed to use the app normally, and to share individual cards as the app's share feature allows.

Some cards quote well-known sayings and attribute them to their author. Those quotations remain the property of their respective rights holders and are used for the purpose of quotation.

Oroty is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SAVYX and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) Oroty. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.

10. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class Action Waiver

To the extent permitted by applicable law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or Oroty will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, and not in a class, collective, or representative action. You and SAVYX each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action. Where such waivers are not permitted by your local law, this Section applies only to the extent allowed.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by notice in the app. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Oroty if you violate these Terms. You may stop using Oroty at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7–10) will survive.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.
