Welcome to Fortail ("Fortail," "we," "us," or "our"), an AI-powered pet-reading app operated by SAVYX. By downloading, accessing, or using Fortail, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Fortail uses AI vision technology to analyze a photo of your dog or cat โ their face and paw pads โ and generate a playful, personalized reading of their character, energy, charm, and instincts. Fortail also offers optional features including an ownerโpet bond reading and daily pet energy.
Fortail is provided strictly for entertainment and bonding purposes. Readings are AI-generated and are not veterinary, medical, behavioral, or professional advice of any kind โ see Section 7.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher; in the Republic of Korea, 14) to use Fortail. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission. Fortail does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
When you use Fortail, you submit a photo of your pet (their face or paw pads). Your photo is sent to our third-party AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate your reading, and is deleted immediately after analysis โ we do not store pet photos on our servers. Fortail is designed to read pets, not people; human faces are not the subject of our analysis, and the ownerโpet bond feature uses a short questionnaire, not a photo of another person. Our handling of your data is described in full in our Privacy Policy.
You retain all rights to the photos you submit. You grant us a limited, temporary license to process them only as needed to provide your reading.
Fortail offers an optional premium subscription ("Fortail Premium") that unlocks in-depth readings, paw-pad deep dives, and the full ownerโpet bond reading.
You agree not to misuse Fortail, including by reverse-engineering the app, attempting to disrupt the service, submitting images that are not of your own pet (or a pet you have permission to submit), or using the app for any unlawful purpose.
Fortail, including its software, design, text, and branding, is owned by SAVYX and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or content except as needed to use the app normally.
Fortail's readings are for entertainment and bonding only. They are not, and must not be relied upon as, veterinary, medical, behavioral, financial, legal, or any other professional advice. Do not make decisions about your pet's health, care, or behavior based on a Fortail reading. If your pet is unwell or you have any concern about their health, consult a licensed veterinarian.
Fortail is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that readings are accurate, reliable, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SAVYX and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) Fortail. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or Fortail will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, and not in a class, collective, or representative action. You and SAVYX each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action. Where such waivers are not permitted by your local law, this Section applies only to the extent allowed.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by notice in the app. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Fortail if you violate these Terms. You may stop using Fortail at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7โ10) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.
